I'm an engineer turned designer, and for the past 7+ years I've been designing complex, workflow-heavy systems. My design philosophy is straightforward: every element should earn its place, and the person using the product should always feel in control.

When I'm not untangling how entity A ended up three steps deep in the wrong workflow, I'm illustrating, or making a sincere but ongoing attempt to get my guitar to sound good. I read a lot of fantasy, and I suspect I'd be the kind of knight who goes around fixing things nobody else thought needed fixing.
